Fallen Trees Furniture and Crafts is a small business owned and run by husband and wife. 
All of our work is done in-house, by ourselves, using various hand and power tools. 

We are country and cabin loving people who truly love nature. During one of our many walks we would see fallen trees and would often comment to each other how it is a waste and would envision different things that could be made from them.  That stump could be an interesting table base or a branch that has a unique twist or knot may make a good cane.  After a few attempts of making some tables, coffee tables and walking sticks we were hooked and never looked at wood the same again.  We realize that use of this material is not for everyone since it may have imperfections, but we saw beyond these blemishes and turned them into beauty and the end results are items that truly have personality and character unlike anything you can buy at a store.  Sourcing fallen or dead trees for the majority of our wood is important to us to preserve nature.

Our skill set is largely self-taught.  We have taken various courses to supplement and expand the things we can do.  Both of us have an artistic side and this is evident in much of our work through the epoxy pieces, photo transferring, the wood burning or painting we've done.  This addition to many of our pieces is what truly makes them custom and unique.  Realizing this is not for everyone, we also respectfully will make your project without these additions; either way what you end up with is a one-of-a-kind, custom, handmade piece. 

We only take on a handful of projects at any one time so that each project has our devoted attention from start to finish.  We will keep our clients as involved in the project as they wish and are willing to send progress pictures by email.  We pride ourselves in delivering a unique, one-of-a-kind quality product to our clients that is both functional and beautiful and often becomes a conversation piece.
